Looks Like I'm Not Alone
The similarities in this article are uncanny. I remember spending a month before my mission trying to beat "Donkey Kong Country" rather than boning up on the whole mission prep thing. Although there are things about the scriptures that are still not entirely clear, at least I'll never forget the code for "Contra!" (probably because I spent so much time trying to input the code before the game started, it rarely worked). Does anyone else share similar experiences? Don't be ashamed.

Um, it's "Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right-B-A-B-A-Start" and it worked every time.
As s cloud of dust enveloped my eyes as I unpacked my scriptures at the MTC, I thought to myself, "Boy, I really should have read these..."
One of the most exciting days on my mission was when we walked past an electronics store that had the new Gameboy Advance in the window.... I was never as trunky as I was that day...
